Youth Collection

Your library has more than books! Toys and games are available in the children’s room for use in the building, as well as two computers with internet access for children under 15 who have a computer use agreement on file with a parent’s signature. Wifi is available throughout the building, so bring your laptop. Borrow some audio CDs and DVDs (along with those books) to enjoy at home!

Youth Programs

Preschool/Toddler Story Time:

Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, songs, and crafts each Wednesdays at 10:30.

Wednesday Afterschool Club:

A small snack is provided as we read a story and complete a small project. Program is held each Wednesday when school is in session from 2:45 – 3:30pm and is designed for children in grades K – 4. Children in grades 5-8 are always welcome to participate and/or help out with the younger children while providing a little community service (help shelve books, work on small projects for the library).

Varied programming for children ages 0 – 18:

Bingo, pottery making, nature hikes, tie-day days, ice cream making, movie nights, and water sliding on the front lawn are just a few of our past activities. Please see our events calendar for future programs.
