The State of Vermont, in cooperation with the Gale Group, has made a number of online databases available for a minimal fee to libraries in the state.  Online databases are organized collections of thousands of magazines, journals, newspapers, and other resources with easy-to-use, efficient search engines.  This collection of databases is known as the Vermont Online Library (VOL).  The databases are available to all residents of Vermont while visiting this library.  Windsor Public Library patrons may also access the databases remotely with their library card.
To access the Vermont Online Library, click on the link below and, when prompted, input your 14-digit WPL patron number (under the barcode on your library card).  If you do not yet have a barcode on your library card, you must visit the library and obtain one prior to use.
