Read to Me: an Evening of Community Entertainment

On Tuesday, December 11th, the Windsor Public Library held a community event at the Windsor Welcome Center that will hopefully become an annual occurrence. Read to Me was a wonderful event of dramatic, entertaining and sometimes humorous holiday readings from the Christmas and Hanukkah traditions. Including Amanda Lape-Freeberg reading O Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi,” Hamilton Gillett with Dylan Thomas’ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales,” Kris Garnjost reading 2 Hanukkah stories, Marv Klassen-Landis doing a parody of “The Night Before Christmas,” and with musical interludes presented by fiddle player, Thal Aylward, it was an enchanting, delightful and entertaining evening that was enjoyed by all.
